Mandate

The mandate was to transpose Pixcom’s expertise into the digital realm. The goal was to strengthen Pixcom’s online presence through the redesign of a new website that better reflects the company’s values of creativity, versatility, reliability, and inclusivity.

Objectives

  • Modernize the overall look and feel of the website
  • Improve user experience to ensure efficient and adaptive navigation
  • Showcase Pixcom’s diverse and solid expertise in the industry through its digital platform
  • Create a digital business card to foster professional relationships in Quebec and beyond

Bringing the website up to date

Pixcom has been a major player in Quebec for many years, building a strong reputation in its market. However, the previous website showed its age. Its somewhat outdated visual design did not generate the expected engagement. We therefore worked to deliver a more contemporary platform, placing video and motion at the very heart of the redesign.

Video expertise at the core of navigation

Following a collaborative workshop with the client, we established that it was essential to integrate as many video formats as possible to highlight Pixcom’s productions as users browse the site. A reel is featured in the homepage banner, while short video clips play on hover across project cards. This visual storytelling not only enhances engagement but also meets the client’s goal of demonstrating the breadth of services offered and establishing a true digital business card for the industry in Quebec and beyond.

A bold creative direction

We chose to use large uppercase typography to maximize the impact of each line of text. This approach creates breathing room in the content, introduces animated scrolling text elements to bring dynamism to the site, and provides clear visual cues from one section to another. This bold design choice also allowed us to highlight elements such as the pre-footer, which was designed with an animated headline to encourage user conversion.
