Mandate
Objectives
The mandate was to consolidate the content of Un village à Lachine into the Village Urbain website while redesigning the platform and applying the organization’s new visual identity.
- Centralize information about Village Urbain and its projects
- Simplify website maintenance and updates
- Clarify the organization’s positioning and strengthen brand identity
- Apply the redesigned visual identity to the new website
- Reinforce Village Urbain’s credibility with its audiences
- Create a dedicated section for news, announcements, blog articles, and external resources on cohabitat

A creative playground
As part of this redesign, we leveraged a freshly updated brand guide that provided ample inspiration to make the content engaging. Repeated use of geometric shapes to highlight visuals, along with a vibrant color palette, proved to be powerful tools in delivering a bold and compelling product aligned with Village Urbain’s refreshed identity.

Democratizing the cohabitat lifestyle
Village Urbain’s mission is to make the cohabitat lifestyle more popular and accessible by clearly explaining the concept. The website was therefore designed to give visuals a central role, allowing users to easily imagine themselves within Village Urbain’s projects. Bold color blocks further enhance readability and create a fluid, user-friendly navigation experience.
Accessible resource centralization
To strengthen the client’s credibility, the website was equipped with multiple access points to documentation. From news and annual reports to press releases, all resources can be easily found through categorized navigation in the header. In the same vein, customizable project page templates were developed, ensuring each project achieves maximum impact both in form and content. Each page showcases key statistics using graphical treatments inherited from Village Urbain’s new brand identity.

Showcasing achievements
Special care was taken to highlight completed projects, offering a rich and immersive experience. Each project is presented with all essential details: cohabitat descriptions, housing criteria, unit plans available for sale or rent, as well as insights into the surrounding environment and nearby services. This approach not only sheds light on each housing project as a whole but also provides visitors with all the necessary information to fully understand and appreciate them.
