Founding President for over 16 years, Jean-François Sauriol has previously worn all the hats required by a web agency. Now surrounded by a superb team, he primarily focuses on business development, innovation, and culture at TREIZE.

Jean-François Sauriol founded the agency at the age of 16. Not even having a driver’s license, he was accompanied by his parents to get there. Today, the web agency works with numerous clients such as Radio-Canada, the City of Montreal, Cook it, FTQ-Construction, the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, Sushi Shop, and a hundred others.

Alone at the helm for several years, it was during his multimedia integration studies at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme that Jean-François landed his first “big” contract, forcing him to team up with his first two colleagues: Loïc Prenevost and Quentin Nolan. The team remained as such for a few years, partly because TREIZE’s growth was limited due to the three TREIZE members’ university studies.

It was in 2017, at the end of his bachelor’s degree in communication at UQAM, that Jean-François finally settled into a real office. TREIZE’s first office was inaugurated in Centre-Sud, Montreal. With space for a maximum of 5 people, the agency’s growth necessitated a move two years later. In 2019, TREIZE moved across the hall, on the same floor, into offices three times larger. The agency took the opportunity to organize an inauguration party that some still talk about.

Since then, Jean-François has surrounded himself with talented individuals, each more skilled than the last, who have, one by one, taken on the roles Jean-François previously held. With more than a dozen colleagues, Jean-François can now be less involved in daily operations and assume the role of visionary at TREIZE. He is responsible for culture and innovation, while also handling business development and promoting the agency externally.
